Milešovka Observatory is a professional meteorological station with permanent staff. Current measurements are used for weather analysis and forecasting, including international data exchange. Due to its unique location, the observatory is intensively used for research purposes, including within the international ACTRIS infrastructure. For this purpose, it is equipped with a range of modern meteorological instruments. At the same time, the observatory has a rich history with a continuous series of measurements since 1905.
ATTENTION: We are sorry, but due to the reconstruction of the roof, the Milešovka Observatory will be closed to the public again from 15 May 2025. The planned reopening is at the beginning of the summer holidays.
