  • 2002-2005 - Studies at the Faculty of Science, University of Ostrava, Department of Physical Geography and Geoecology
  • 2005-2007- Studies at the Faculty of Science, Charles University in Prague, Department of Physical Geography; 2007 - diploma thesis: "The analysis of short-term rainfalls and their link to the orography of the Czech Republic".
  • 2006/2007 - half-year study sojourn at Universite Louis Pasteur Strasbourg
  • since 2007 - Postgraduate studies at Faculty of Science, Charles University in Prague, Department of Physical Geography; dissertation thesis: "The utilization of remote sensing data for the analysis of condition and progress of the rainfalls".
  • 2009 - 3-month research sojourn at "Centre National de Recherches Météorologiques", Météo-France, Toulouse, France, founded by French government.

    since 2008 - Institute of Atmospheric Physics ASCR, Department of Meteorology

    Extreme convective rainfalls and their detection by distant measurements (meteorological radars, satellites)
