Effects of the solar activity in the broadest sense (X- and UV-radiation, total irradiance changes, space weather phenomena including geomagnetic storms and high energy particles) on the neutral middle atmosphere and lower ionosphere (~ h = 10-120 km). Observational, experimental, simulation as well as theoretical papers are welcome. One of the aims of the Workshop is help to resolve the question of the role of solar activity in the observed long-term changes in the middle atmosphere and lower ionosphere. Institute of Atmospheric Physics (IAP) organizes the Workshop in the campus of the Institute in Prague. The two previous Workshops were organized also in Czechia (1989 Castle of Liblice, 1997 Prague). The Workshops follows just after the COSPAR Colloquium on the Ionosphere with expected partial overlap of attendies.
